A few words before the holiday rush begins.

Every fall, a few of you ask me the same question, and I love that you ask: will you be having a Black Friday sale? This is the season when nearly every brand cuts its prices, some by half, and the offers grow louder by the day. So here is my answer, from me to you: we will not be having a sale this November or December. Not a huge sale where everything is on sale, the way so many brands do it. And I would like to tell you why.

When I price a piece, I price it once, at what it is truly worth. The number reflects the weight of its solid 14kt gold, the quality of its stones, and the work that goes into it, with nothing padded in so it can be taken off later. And because the price of gold moves with the market, if anything the heavier pieces may have to cost a little more in the months ahead, not less. A piece we could sell for half price on Friday would not have been fairly priced on Thursday.

I would much rather you choose slowly, and enjoy it. Come into the studio, hold a piece in your hand, try it on. We are always happy to help you find the one. The jewelry that stays with you for decades, the piece you reach for every morning and one day pass down, is not bought in a midnight rush. It is chosen.

We are making one exception. A small selection of pieces will be offered at 30% off, something we rarely ever do, to make room for newer styles. You will find them at our trunk show on Thursday, November 19. Save the date. We would love to see you there.
